CCNA or Network+ What is better!

i am technical staff in testpassport, my name is kevin , today a customer ask me what is better CCNA(CISCO) or Network+(COMPTIA).

so i said Network+ is a broad understanding of the networking enviroment. It is sort of how A+ is the foundation for learning.

CCNA is a specific exam that covers only Cicso. Since Cisco makes up probably about 90% of networks in the IT field right now it is extremely important to understand how to it functions.

You can’t really say one is better then the other. Most companies will look more for CCNA then N+ though. But by having N+ it gives you a strengthened knowledge of the networking enviroment. It’s the same premise that you might want to have A+ and then certify with Microsoft, HP, Dell, etc.

Depending on your needs, time, and cost, you CAN skip the N+ and go straight to CCNA. Right now I just finished my A+ and am studying for N+ with preparations to continue to CCENT and CCNA shortly after.
